History: Our origins
CISI Scrl, a limited liability, non-profit company established in the second half of 2008, stems from the Interdisciplinary Center for Biomolecular Studies and Industrial Applications (CISI), an Excellence Center of the University of Milan (UniMi), founded in 2001 and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Research as such until 2008, when it was renamed as the Interdepartmental Center of the University of Milan.
What we do
We are dedicated to helping all entrepreneurs and companies maximize the value of their research and innovations. We do this is two ways:
1. CISI scrl operates in the Biotechnology-Life Sciences arena. We help entrepreneurs develop their innovations into solid technologies and companies. We provide access to a Life Sciences incubator structure that provides a range of services and skills to help scientific entrepreneurs to develop and enhance their portfolio of projects and innovative ideas.
2. We offer our scientific staff and Technology Platforms as a Life Science Accelerator to work with you, a young and innovative biotech company, as true partners, to help accelerate the development of your research projects.
